About our maktab program:
In our Maktab program, the students learn the basic necessary education of Islam. They learn how to recite the Qur'an fluently while being able to apply the rules of Tajweed along with the memorization of surahs and duas. They also learn Hadith, Aqidah, Fiqh and the practical way of performing the obligatory actions required in Islam. As our Rasulullah (saw) mentions: "Seeking knowledge is a duty upon all Muslims" They learn about their Faith, Worship, honest dealings, good social conduct and good etiquettes and manners. Our object is to create such students who will follow the sunnah of Rasulullah (saw) and have proper Islamic upbringing and to become a practicing Muslim.
Nazira Quran with Tajweed:
- Quran: Learners should be able to recite Quran without making mistakes
- Surahs: For Salaah to be correct, at least a few basic Surahs should be memorized.
- Duas: Initially the focus will be the Kalimahs, thereafter on Salaah Du’as so that one’s Salaah can be performed correctly, thereafter daily Masnun du’as
Islamic curriculum:
- Aqaaid: To ensure that our Imaan and beliefs are correct.
- Fiqh: To worship Allah Ta'ala and carry out the pillars of Islam and other commands in the correct manner according to the laws of Allah Ta'ala.
- Taareekh: To take lessons from the past people.
- Seerah: To learn about and follow the excellent example and way of life of Rasulullah(saw)
- Hadith on Etiquettes: To learn the blessed words of Rasulullah (saw) and practice upon it.
- Akhlaaq: To develop the lofty character shown by Rasulullah (saw).
Practical application of the knowledge:
• Practical taharah, wudhu, salah, Stories with morals and lessons, Practice of good character.
• Instilling sunnah habits (eating, sleeping, bathroom, dressing, personal hygiene, etc.)
- Application of the duas in daily life.
- Practicing on serving others: parents, siblings, and people in general.
