MHQA provides Islamic learning programs for young adults in the form of successive courses listed below:
In this six-month course, students will study essential Islamic Studies and Fundamentals as well as Islamic Etiquettes under the tutelage of a scholar. The philosophy of focusing on both education and upbringing hand-in-hand (al-ta‘lim wa ‘t-tarbiyah), along with being intellectually stimulated by learning the basis of our religion and by addressing the challenges we face in the modern world, emphasis is placed on spiritual growth, synergically nurturing and providing food for both heart and mind.
This course will include learning fundamentals and beliefs of Islam along with some etiquettes of Islam. It will cover:
1) Challenges to our Imaan.
2) Basic Arabic language using the book “Easy Arabic course”.
3) Some topics of Etiquettes of Islam will be covered using the book “The Beginning of Guidance” by Imam Al-Ghazali.
This course will be a bit more advanced and will cover topics in Hadith, Fiqh, Seerah and Arabic grammar.
This course will include:
1) Introduction to Arabic grammar using the book: “Easy Arabic Course Book Two"
2) History of Islam using the book: “Prophet of Mercy”
3) Rulings of Islam using the book: “Taleem Ul Islam “
This is an intensive course, following topics will be covered in detail:
Spirituality, Fiqh, Seerah, Hadith, Aqeedah, Arabic Grammar and Arabic literature.
This course will include:
1) Some points of spiritual betterment will be discussed from the book: “The Beginning of Guidance “(parts 2-3)
2) We will learn some Hadith of our prophet (PBUH) from the book “Zad Ul Taalibeen”
3) Arabic verb conjugation and grammar from the book “Fundamentals of Classical Arabic”
4) Arabic grammar primer from the book: “Tasheel-un-Nahw”
Arabic literature and stories of the prophets from the book: “Qasas un Nabieen"
